I'm a self-taught artist, paint-maker and all around creative soul who wants you to know that you don't have to choose "just one" thing to create. Create what makes you happy and let the rest fall into place.
Art obsessed, introverted book nerd and mother of two. Yep, that's me.
I am an Indiana artist who lives in the country because it calms my restless soul. I'm that person who always wants to be doing something, even if that something is reading a book in bed. I like to feel like I am accomplishing a little something everyday and am an INFP-T personality type. Not only do I love to create but I also just love to learn. I'm constantly exploring different types of art because I love learning the process behind different creative processes like font making, pottery, and stained-glass.
My favorite part of being an artist? The freedom to create anything I want.
My goal is simple. I'm want to help you explore different types of art to fuel your creativity.
What is a sure-fire way to grow as an artist? BE UNIQUELY CREATIVE. How do you get there? Practice everyday in un-unique ways. What? Yep. I've figured it out. The life long secret to fostering raw creativity: Have fun making art that YOU enjoy. See something you like on Pinterest? Make it for yourself. Do you like the style of three different artists? Challenge yourself to combine those styles into one piece of art.
Have fun creating, just to create.
It's important to take the time to provide self-care to your inner artist as well as yourself.
My kind of self care is exploring different mediums and allowing myself to enjoy the process, not just trying to rush to the end result.
My goal is simple. I want to inspire you to explore different types of art to fuel your creativity.
